The Word Alive released their refreshing new single “Nocturnal Future” accompanied by a sharp music video directed by Jake Johnston (Stand Atlantic, Polyphia.) under new label Thriller Records.

After his time at Fearless he hit the refresh button, and came back just as passionate and determined as ever. That is exactly where we were as a band, and it felt poetic almost to finish what we started. The Word Alive hone in on their bold sound with “Nocturnal Future.” Featuring exhilarating melodies that are laced together with catchy hooks. The band formulates a profound dynamic as the track plays out.

“Nocturnal Future” felt like the first song our fans needed to hear after taking the longest break to make a record of our career. I wanted it to be something that captured all the things The Word Alive loves into one song. A meaningful message and vocal delivery, energetic and dynamic instrumentation as well as a big drop that started from a dream I had of all places. I think of “Nocturnal Future” as a fresh start, a balancing of the scales creatively and most of all, a song I can’t wait to play live.”
