The Birth Of Venus Talks About Their New Single ‘Flatline’

Progressive rock band from Bicol, The Birth of Venus released their new song called ‘Flatline’

“The pain that rushes through your veins
 I see you cry,
We begin to understand the reasons why we fight
 One last time”

The song Flatline is about that feeling you get when you see someone on the verge of death, suffering. It’s about the realization of why people continue to struggle, even though it’s a lot easier to give up.

“Close my eyes Tell me that it’s gonna be just fine,
Hold me close Pull me out in the undertow”
During these times we know that everyone tells themselves that– that it’s going to be fine, even though at the beginning of it all it is definitely going to be painful.

“We’ll take that pain away We’ll pull it out inside
We’re drifting it off We’re drifting it off
Separate me from my place
coz not for long I’m dead and gone”
In the end, the only way we can cope with the death of a loved one is to accept the fact that death is natural. It is a part of life, no matter how dark and painful it may be.
