REVIEW: Vision Arcade – We All Bleed Red (feat. Jony Shelby) [SINGLE]

Texas-based rock quartet Vision Arcade are back with their first song in over a year and with every injustice being committed during these recent times, their new track is just about relevant as it gets.

Straight to the point, Vision Arcade’s latest offering in more than a year is nothing but raw and honest music.

We All Bleed Red” is an alternative rock track trapped in a trance-like, contemplative-sounding musical state that slowly reels the listener in to make its message known: a call for racial equality and unification.

Musically, the track has huge potential to get itself into your head constantly the more you listen to it especially with the incorporation of a wonderful dance of violins and pianos along with a solid drum beat that just keeps thundering for your attention in addition to the vocal performance which I just have to describe as beautiful and entrancing every step of the way with all of it culminating into a country-like track that feels timeless as its message.

Songs like this pique my interest a lot, as it does not only possess great musicianship, but its lyrical themes are also highly relevant especially right now (though it should have always been) more than ever and it’s nice to discover another band who is willing to go out there and make it known that they stand united with the oppressed and neglected. I am a firm believer that music has always been a wonderful instrument for bringing people together so this song’s message, and the fact that the band collaborated with African American hip-hop artist Jony Shelby to further strengthen and show their resolve, definitely has my vote.
