On May 20, 2020, Northlane surprised fans by dropping an unreleased single from their ARIA-Award winning album “Alien“.
Entitled “Enemy Of The Night“, the band revealed the song to be the final track off their latest record; announcing at the same time a deluxe edition of “Alien“, complete alongside a full instrumental version of the album (which fans have long been wishing for since its release) as well as limited edition vinyl.
The Deluxe package will be out on July 31st.
The new song does not stray far from the sound of the rest of “Alien“; complete with the iconic djent-y riffs Northlane is known for as well as intricate rhythms interlaced with ambient synths and samples, and to top it all off, the melancholic tug of vocalist Marcus Bridge‘s voice switching from somber cleans to harsh, raspy growls.
