LUNARLIGHTS navigate a love that is drifting apart in music video for “T.Y.T.”

“Take your time. Giving you the chance to do what you need to do…”

Anyone who’s been in a relationship knows that it has its ups and downs. It’s not always about the good times and surreal moments on cloud nine. Sometimes, we face trials that often lead us to points of uncertainty; leading us to a crossroads of whether or not to stick around, give space, and keep fighting for our love or to just simply slowly let go as time passes by.

Released in November of last year, alt-pop-punk act LUNARLIGHTS‘ single “T.Y.T.” (short for Take Your Time) talks exactly about that point in our relationships and now, the band has released a music video to back up this heart-wrenching track.

In the music video, a woman is seen picking up a phone call yet contemplates on whether or not to respond to her caller (alluding to the song’s lyric of “…but for tonight, I just wanna hear you breathe on the other line…“).

This is then followed by scenes of the woman seen through the point-of-view of, perhaps, her lover (the caller) during better days inter-cut with scenes of the band performing against a dimly-lit, moody setting.
