Australian trapcore icons The Weight Of Silence are back, bigger and badder than ever, with the release of their album “Give The People What They Want” last January 29th.
The LP’s release was preceded by a few singles such as “Ain’t Loyal“, “Gucci & Gold“, and “Silencer (feat. Hunt The Dinosaur)“; each track showcasing the band’s signature blend of modern rap and metalcore and with “Give The People What They Want” promising to give (pun intended) even more.
On the album’s conception, vocalist Jacob Pedersen a.k.a. J-Figure commented:
“Give The People What They Want“, to me, is a diverse work of emotions I was going through in 2019 while my life was a rollercoaster. Songs about partying, drugs, alcohol, losing friends, feeling crazy, not giving a fuck and giving so many fucks. This is my first album drop ever personally and I guess you can say it’s a representation of my personality, which is never stuck in one place. I hope this album can take people on a ride like the ride I had making it with the boys.
