Four-piece punk band with emo, hardcore, and indie rock roots based in Quezon City, Tokyo Escape recently released their debut single ‘Peacefully’.

Peacefully was the first song the band had ever written together. It talks about the aftermath of giving in to inner demons and bad influences. We were inspired by the amount energy created when the band was formed, which eventually led to us using the metal and hardcore sides of our influences to write the song. Though the song is quite aggressive, it holds a message near and dear to the members of the band. It’s a reminder for us to live life meaningfully, and to cut out those who bring us down.
