Hailing from the farther regions of Brittany, France, melodic metalcore act Call From Distant Earth have released their first ever music video for their 3rd single “Forlorn Hope“, off of their upcoming 5-song debut EP, “The Fall Of Desmeda“. The music video incorporates cinematic dystopian themes that greatly matches the bands grim and emotional brand of metal.

According to the band, The EP’s name is taken from the title of the novel written by their singer Theo and the band’s first two singles from the EP, “Anywhere But Here” and “Out Of The Sun“, are parts of the very same novel.

The band is self-produced and with their experience in film audio post-production, the band introduces a unique take on the metalcore genre; utilizing samples, voice effects, and sound design in conjunction with gritty rhythms and melodies and harsh vocals to create their own interpretation of an atmospheric and emotional form of metalcore.
“The Fall Of Desmeda” will be released this summer of 2020.
