Alpha Wolf unleash sophomore album “a quiet place to die”

Melbourne’s nu metalcore icons Alpha Wolf have finally released their long-awaited sophomore album “a quiet place to die” via Greyscale Records and Sharptone Records.

The album, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Lance Prenc (Polaris, Gravemind, Diamond Construct), is a follow up to their debut full-length “Mono” and their 2018 EP “Fault“, the latter of which catapulted the band into global recognition as the anger-incarnate metalcore quintet they are today.

Prior to the album’s release, the band released four singles: the rage-filled “Akudama“, the decimating “Creep“, the eerie “Bleed 4 You“, and the graphic “Restricted (R18+)“, all of which perfectly showcased to Alpha Wolf‘s avid listeners how much the band has pushed themselves to conceive an album they all wanted to create and are proud of.

The album itself is diverse as its singles painted it out to be. It beautifully showcases Alpha Wolf‘s signature brand of face-punching metalcore while also exploring a more melodic and atmospheric side such as in the case of “Bleed 4 You” and the album closer “Don’t Ask…” and features their heaviest song to date in the form of “Rot In Pieces“.

With an album as tastefully diverse as that, what are you waiting for? It’s time to watch the bodies drop!
