ColourMind‘s hot new single “Last Words” is a breathtaking emo power ballad made up of waltzing rhythms; brought to life through chunky guitars, loud drums, booming bass, and a varied vocal performance; to strike the listener with maximum emotional impact.

ColourMind lean into their love of 2000’s emo, and the result is somewhere between Rise Against, Sum 41, My Chemical Romance and early Bullet for My Valentine. Lyrically, the song speaks of a forbidden love that sees both parties holding on until they can’t, and for one moment all their problems disappear, and nothing can drag them apart.

ABOUT THE BAND:

ColourMind is a Pop Punk band hailing from Perth, Western Australia, blending pop punk with metal influences, ColourMind have been making waves in the local music scene. The band consists of four members – Jonny Essiech, who serves as the band’s guitarist and original founding member, as well as three other talented musicians Jimmy Watson fronting the band and taking over guitar duties, Matt Wenke providing hard hitting drums and Reg King with his thunderous bass. All four of which share a passion for Pop Punk and Metal music.
