Australian alt rock outfit Shangrila shared their brand new single and video, “Lift Me Up“, in preparation for their next EP release entitled ‘Analog Youth‘, due to drop Friday August 27.
Vocalist Devyn Jupp explains, “once you enter your 20’s you start to experience the world differently, everything becomes a lot more real. Things you might have been lucky enough to avoid in your younger years like heartbreak, deaths of friends or family and mental health all tend to expose themselves throughout this time in your life.”
Produced, mixed and mastered by Shane Edwards of Karma Sound Studios (Trophy Eyes, Hellions) with additional engineering and production by Cody Brooks, “Lift Me Up” is the first from upcoming sophomore EP, ‘Analog Youth’ out August 27. To celebrate the release, Shangrila will launch their new single live at Amplifier Bar on Saturday July 10 with supports Pot Plant House Party, Scream Mountain and Reins. Tickets available via Oztix.
