Australian alternative rock five-piece Reside have revisited the past and are breathing new life into “In This Moment” with a brand new Summer Remix – marking the first from a collection of Reside favourites that have been reimagined to find a home on upcoming EP, ‘Relight‘, out Friday April 23. After testing out new sounds and taking a more stripped back approach to their live performance, the demand for a full remix release was hard to ignore.

 “The summer remix of this song came about last year when we were in lockdown. I couldn’t imagine playing heavier songs to a seated crowd so I started thinking about arrangements that would work for an audience in any context.

Thankfully when we did get an opportunity to play these versions supporting Stuck Out, we had lots of people request we put them out officially. What’s been produced for both this EP and our new music covers all bases and certainly feels like the most authentic music we’ve put out to date.“

Reside‘s reimagined single “In This Moment” (Summer Remix) is out now to stream and purchase. ‘Relight’ will be available Friday April 23.

This track comes one week before the bands Melbourne headline shows at Northcote Social Club on Saturday March 13 supported by The Rollercanes and Wifecult. Due to popular demand and a sold out late show, an evening show has been added – tickets available through Eventbrite.
