Just before this year ends, pop punk band from Cavite, HTTM released their debut music video for their single ‘Empty‘. The disappointing reality and the state of being hollow inspired vocalist, JN Diaz to write the lyrics for this new song.
“The moment that JN came up with the lyrics, he was in a really dark time of his life, he decided to put his thoughts in a song to help him express it because he felt just speaking about it to someone else isn’t enough. He felt null, void, empty, hence, the song’s title. As he wrote his thoughts down, he knew that some people might relate or are experiencing the same as him.

We shot the music video in an abandoned theme park located somewhere in Indang, Cavite which hasn’t been open since the Taal eruption. The reason we chose this location is for its dullness, despite the numerous colors it has, it is still non-functional and not “fun” as it should be. It has the best representation of “emptiness” which is what the song is about.”
