“The end is nigh…“
With the whole world under the effects of a pandemic and countless acts of social and political injustice going along with it, the feeling of the world of ending is no stranger to anyone during these times.
With so many people defiantly voicing out their outrage and dissatisfaction towards incompetent socio-political and religious institutions, this is exactly what contentious metal act Fragments tackle in their latest track.
Entitled “Meathook“, the new single employs Fragments‘ signature gritty and melodic style of metalcore and is the band’s first single from their upcoming debut album scheduled to be released by the end of the year.

Read vocalist Niko Cezar‘s comment on the single below:
“Meathook is about the coming of the end. Lyrically, it’s based on my view on what our world has become and how I see it’s going to be in the distant future. Mainly focused on what has been happening lately; being oppressed by our own governments and how people are rising up to them.
The End is Nigh.”
