From melodic lines to heavy breakdowns and riffs, this four-piece band hailing from the south, called NEUE will surely get you off the hook as they move the grounds with unexpected heart-pounding structures and hard-hitting breakdowns. The band recently released their debut single “Hide & See”, recorded, mixed & mastered by Esjay Laylo of BBC Records.
Inheriting the love for NU Metal, Metal Core and Hardcore bands (the likes of Deftones, Architects, Periphery, Strife, Hatebreed, EarthCrisis, Underoath, Kill Switch Engage, Suicidal Tendencies, Stick to your guns, etc.) to the new breed of bands that slowly formed their interest to open a new horizon of genres.
Formed last November 2018 and started creating music early quarter of 2019, NEUE – Chris (Bass), Kang (Guitars), Eduard (Drums) and Ehm (Mics) quickly forged their own distinct identity that defines the sound they want. From different influences and personalities, they tried to balance their individual priorities and still manage to find time in this passion. The curiosity of creating/developing new beats, riffs, structures, breakdowns, and beat downs made them closer as they get along to this industry. They always challenge their own sound to come up with more engaging tunes and headbanging drops. Their music tells stories that might be similar or familiar to their fellow musicians and listeners.
From different perspectives and ideas, they somehow equate their music to their band’s name. NEUE means different color that creates unified beauty and elegance when combined. Their unorthodox way of combining melody from an aggressive sound into a more experimental direction gives them a wider range of space in creating their sound unique and interesting.
United in re-discovering their individual passions as musicians, they continue to soar new heights in exploring music that can be heard from different places and inspire other people from their music that exhale’s love and positivity.
