CAMANAVA pop punk band, No, Thanks! recently released their second single ‘Brightest Stars, Crimson Evening’ from their upcoming EP.
About the song “Brightest Stars, Crimson Evening”, it was written 7 years ago, nung high school pa ako nun. It was all about my struggles, being pressured for what I have to be. Suicidal thoughts, bullying, all I have is myself.
But now, this song has a new meaning, for awareness ng mga tao kapag may depression ang isa sa mga kaibigan nila. Andaming buhay ang nasayang dahil sa suicide, dahil walang gustong tumulong at kuminig sa kanila, all they can say is a support na hindi naman kayang gawin without their further help.Even tho, It’s all about seeking help but it turns out to be a funny thing dahil sa kung sino sila.
This song has no intention to push people to suicide, It’s for awareness. You’ll be loved!Daryll Bautista, Vocalist, No, Thanks!
(Special Mention to Miggy Mayo, which is our new member of the band as a Lead Guitarist. Siya lalo nagdagdag ng feels sa kanta, and it turns out to be an emo song hahaha. Sadly, wala siya sa band pic namin ngayon dahil recent lang siya nadagdag sa banda, before the record sessions.)
We are No, Thanks! from CAMANAVA area. Our band name came from rejections, which is nagpapamotivate samin magpatuloy pa. Hangga’t may kumikinig, di kami titigil.Kahit di kagalingan, alam namin sa sarili namin na may maiimprove pa kami.
