San Pedro, Laguna’s post-hardcore band The Broken Anthem just released their EP on Bandcamp called ‘The Last Lullaby’.

Hi The Broken Anthem. Please tell us about your new EP “The Last Lullaby”.
– The Last Lullaby is a Concept Album which revolves around a struggling relationship with different kinds of ending. It’s either they bring back each other and make up or everything ends up in a tragedy.
What were the inspirations behind it?
– The Concept Album format comes from Alesana, and for the songs most of them was inspired by personal experience.
How does the songwriting work for this EP?
– It’s not something that we’ve done in a short span of time, everything went from a death and rebirth status before recording, most of the riffs were written by Justin and once we got to practice Nat works on the drums and most likely the lyrics comes last.
What can we expect from The Broken Anthem’s this year?
– As of this moment we are working on some new stuff, just a little spoiler for you guys and the next one will also going to be a Concept Album and we are going to release a new single maybe before the end of the year.
